【摘要】:NearlyallelectronicdevicesaresusceptibletopossibledamageordegradationfromESDencounteredintheiroperatingenvironments.Thesensitivityoftheequipment,thepotentialconsequencesofamalfunction,andtheexpectedenvironmentalconditionsallimpactthelevelofESDprotectionneeded.ESDshieldingeffectivenesstestmaybedestructive,andunitsthathavebeentestedshouldbeconsideredunreliableforfutureuse.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheelectrostaticdischarge(ESD)shieldingeffectivenessofamembraneswitchassembly.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtotestamembraneswitchtodestruction,thatis,todetermineitsmaximumESDshieldingeffectiveness,oritmaybeusedtotesttheabilityofamembraneswitchtowithstandapredeterminedlevelofexposure.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
