【摘要】:1.1Thesepracticescoverfourtypesoftreatmentforpreparationofaluminumandaluminum-alloysurfacesforpainting,asfollows:1.1.1TypeA-SolventCleaning.1.1.2TypeB-ChemicalTreatments.1.1.3TypeC-AnodicTreatments.1.1.4TypeD-MechanicalTreatments.Thesefourtypescoveranumberofprocedures,asdescribedherein.1.2Variationsinsurfacetreatmentproduceendconditionswhichdiffer,andwhichdonotnecessarilyyieldidenticalresultswhenpaintsareapplied.Serviceconditionswilldictatethetypeofsurfacepreparationthatshouldbeselected,althoughthequalityproducedbyanyindividualmethodmayvarywithdifferentalloys.1.3Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
